Are You Sure?

ree

In just over two weeks’ time, we will have our yearly gospel meeting based on the theme “Are You Sure?” Much work has gone on behind the scenes to plan the topics, coordinate with the speakers. The speakers themselves have diligently prepared their lessons, and they will soon be flying halfway around the world to speak to us from 27 to 29 November. Much work has already been done – but so much more remains for us to do!

Are You Sure… that you will be joining us for the gospel meeting tracting session on Saturday 15 November?

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (Matthew 9:36-38)

Are You Sure… that you will be extending the invitation to a friend or family member to come join us for the gospel meeting, to “come and see” Jesus?

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. (John 1:45-46)

Are You Sure… that you yourself will be making plans to attend the gospel meeting, to listen and learn from the word of God?

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (Acts 17:11)

Don’t leave it to the last minute to decide whether or not to attend the gospel meeting… Clear your schedules now, and Be Sure!
