A Look Back At June Camp 2025

We thank God for the smooth running of our annual church camp, which ran from Monday 9 June to Thursday 12 June 2025. Here is a look back at some of the things that happened in this year’s camp!

1) This year’s camp theme was “Growing Like Jesus”, taken from Luke 2:52. We thank God for the teachers in the Adults’ and Children’s classes, as well as the various devotion speakers, for showing us what God had to say in His word about “Growing Like Jesus”!

2) We had plenty of opportunities to praise God in song. Various men stepped up before each lesson, as well in the nightly Singing Fellowships, to lead the campers in singing hymns to God. The children were taught to sing too in their separate classes – thanks be to God for little voices that praise Him!

3) All work and no play make Jack a dull boy, and we had an enjoyable time both during the organized indoor games, as well as during the free time when we got to use the resort’s facilities. Most importantly, we were able to bond, have fun, and have fellowship with our fellow Christians.

4) One of the highlights of each year’s camp must surely be the food, and we thank God not only for a spiritual feast from His word, but also for the physical food that we got to enjoy at the resort too.

5) Finally, in our very last activity of the camp, we remembered to show appreciation and thankfulness to those around us, by hand-writing appreciation cards to our fellow campers. Indeed, in everything, give thanks!

This camp could not have been possible without the providence of God, and it also could not have been possible without the support of each and every camper who attended. Lord willing, we will have another camp in 2026, and we hope that even more of us in the Lim Ah Pin family will be able to attend!
